We ’ve enjoyed Nina Eadie ’s garden in Montana for the past three day , but today we ’re research the garden she leave behind to move to Montana .
She says,“These are photos of the garden we left behind in California . When we moved into that house the front and back yard were typical 1960s perimeter planting and a “ lawn ” of weeds with a little Bermuda grass peeking through . I spent the first year hand - cut into weed until we in reality had a reasonably decent lawn , which we then work and trim to a manageable size of it to water by hand , since we did n’t have reflex sprinkler .
“ I LOVED that little grand , and I ’ve been trying since we moved here to Montana to create the same feeling I had there . It ’s comic how a little cubic yard can have a dandy common sense of intimacy than a expectant space . . . at least until the trees get big !

“ I ’m sad to say that the citizenry who bought our house ended up polish off pretty much everything in the 1000 to put in a pool and have a topographic point to store their motor home . I ’m glad I have the film though to calculate at on a stale , snowy Montana day ! ”
Nina , both of your gardens are beautiful and FRIENDLY . When I was in your garden in Montana , I just want to sit and unwind and continue for a while . Your California garden looks just as welcoming and comfortable . Wonderful ! Thanks so much for sharing everything with us , it ’s been fun ! Keep us update on the Montana garden this twelvemonth – I know there ’s so much more to see.**more information in the captions * *
