I got zero horticulture done last weekend . As prognosticate , I was busy with decorating my home berth , which now looks splendid and has been rather nice to form in all week . This weekend there is no dwelling house betterment on the computer menu , so I can begin to harness the reserve of garden tasks . Chief among these is getting the bloody tulips planted . If there ’s meter , I might adventure into the nursery . Or I might not .

In the lag , let ’s do Six on Saturday . Six thing , in the garden , on a Saturday . Could be anything , you settle . bring together in !

Here are my Six for this calendar week …

1 – Rose ‘ Buff Beauty ’ . One of those bud from recent week has bloom . Just one , but it smell mythologic .

2 – Greenhouse . Where plants go to go . I have n’t set metrical foot in here for calendar month , and it shows ! What a black mess . It wo n’t hugely surprise you to screw that I had too many plants to cope , and even less prison term to do it this yr . I need to get in there and clear up it out , not least because I have tender stuff that needs to overwinter in here . Brave of them !

3 – Salvia ‘ Amethyst Lips ’ . Like Hot Lips , but purpler . I purchase this plant as a teeny plug in springiness 2020 . It lives in a good deal on the patio steps . It has bushed up nicely but I have been underwhelmed with the measure of flowers . Perhaps it needs a provender , or maybe it would be happy in the ground .

4 – Overhead view . Since I have not bothered with a Border Patrol station for some clock time , here is how the garden attend now . The grass is too long , the leaves needs clearing up , the borders want tidying , and the bozo are using my newly refresh up terrace planter as a newly freshened up latrine . Nice . We will soon recruit the time of year of John Brown .

5 – Cup and discus vine . The purple flower are fading , or perhaps they emerge this colour and turn purple . Anyway , the dot is there are still flowers on this bid climber , which should long ago have become frosted mush .

6 – Geranium nodosum . This is gradually seeding about , but it is hard to object to the flowers , even they are looking a bit batter this late in the year .

Have a crack weekend , do n’t blank out to assure back by and by on as more link are added during the mean solar day .
