Today ’s photos are from Jana Milbocker in Holliston , Massachusetts . Jana says,“I have been garden on my 2 - acre place locate 25 miles west of Boston for 20 years . When we bought our 100 - yr - old planetary house , towering maple , oak and Norway spruce , overgrown rhododendrons and 2 unripe hostas constitute the garden .
“ I was a complete novice , and my stinting garden begin with peak produce from seed , stock-still cuttings of shrub , and repeated divisions donated by family line and friend . As my interest in horticulture grew , so did my collection . Now the garden features more than 140 miscellanea of tree diagram and shrub , perennial gardens , peony and roseate beds , water features and shady retreats .
“ Some of my favorite plant include viburnums , hellebores , hydrangeas , and peonies , and I relish propagating my industrial plant and sharing with others . In increase to hours of fun alfresco , my garden hobby has go to many new friendship , continuing education , and a new business in garden design , writing and lecturing . ”
