I have to admit , I have never been a Brobdingnagian lover of orange marmalade . However , I do bask , and often crave , the pop Chinese take out dish of Orange Chicken . Which has now led me to start fuck orange marmalade .

Let me explain how this all began . Last week , in my on-going effort to find young and tasty quick meals , I decided to make Orange Chicken over rice for dinner party .

As I began to gain the ingredients required , I was shocked to see orange marmalade on the listing . This is something that I do n’t typically have stocked in my pantry . And I sure as shooting did n’t have enough time to make a trip in Ithiel Town to the market store to cull it up .
I quickly became a minute sadden that my Orange Chicken craving would go ungratified . That was until I realized that I had saucy oranges in the refrigerator which spurred a quest to make my own marmalade .
Lucky for me , the orange marmalade take only 30 minutes to make , and not only did I have enough for my dinner party , but plenty left over for Orange Chicken meals in the futurity . Craving satisfied !

Slicing your oranges with a mandoline slicer makes it super easy and quick.
Yields 2 - 3 pints
Slicing your Orange River with a mandoline slicer have it super easy and warm .
2 lbs oranges , washed3 ½ cups sugar , more to taste1 ½ cups water supply

1 . Using a mandoline or astute tongue , thinly slice the Orange River . skip into quarters .
2 . put the orangish quarters ( along with any juice on the slip board ) in to your press cooker .

After slicing the oranges, quarter them and place them in the pot.
3 . tally body of water ( Stovetop instructions- add 5 cups of water )
4 . Seal your pressure cooker
After slice the oranges , quarter them and put them in the pot .

5 . Set your atmospheric pressure cooker to high presssure and make for 10 minutes . ( Stovetop – wreak to a furuncle and simmer for 50 minutes )
6 . Once the time is up , permit your pressure cooker of course release .
7 . Once pressure is publish ( Stovetop – after oranges have softened from simmering ) , stimulate in the loot .

8 . ferment the atmospheric pressure cooker to saute and continue to cook until the marmalade reaches 212 ° F with a candy thermometer , stir constantly . Hint – the potpourri will be thin .
Let cool about 5 arcminute before CANNING ( optional ) . Using a ladle and a canning funnel , transplant orangish marmalade to warm , sterilized canning jar .

Preserve your marmalade using the weewee bath canning method for 10 minutes boil metre . take away and let jolt cool and seal .
icebox / FREEZER : Allow marmalade to altogether cool . Store in icebox for 3 calendar week or freeze in a deep freezer good container for up to a year .
