A solicitation of raging peas or pea metal money grown for their peak seemed interesting enough , but I name ,   seed was somewhat hard to retrieve – so I am on the search for more interesting specie – if you have a source , permit me know . Most of these come fromRoger Parsons Sweet Peasin the UK , but if you know of a better source , please divvy up . This made the project even more desirable for me , as now I had to track down some rarefied species , as well as some named selections of species .

Lathyrus odoratus , the wild species of the vulgar sweet pea used as a cut prime take in in my previous post , was one quite a little of come which did not survive my vacation – dogs , the estrus and a missing hose allowed   a few pots to be egest . Still , I had around ten different types of various Lathyrus species bloom , some of which I am portion out here ( some flower while I was aside in Wyoming , and others have yet to bloom ) .

Perhaps the most noticiable aspect when acquire in container is the diversity in height followed by then their diverse leaf shapes . After that , the most obvious ( and perhaps the discouraging matter ) is their forgetful bloom period , finally served with most coinage having a smaller flower size when compared to fancier hybrid , but that does n’t devil me – I like interesting and refreshing , and there is something to be said for a collection of unusual species of pea plant in pots as a display .
