I think we ’re adaptable . And so , this study from abode , Zoom lifespan , I started to encounter the positive in it . And now I receive it prosperous . It works well with my really busybodied life story . I ’m able-bodied to do more with the shaver . I ’m able to be more home , and you start to create your own piddling zen atmosphere .
Allow Your Home to Adapt Alongside Your Family
When you have that many small thing running around in a house , there has to be a lot of comfort . You desire to be capable to have playful items . You wanna have things that are not too precious , that are not deleterious when your three - yr - old need to jump off and abseil off thing , and he ’s wild . So we ’ve got a lot of comfortable piece . Also really , with this sign of the zodiac , my style evolved a lot throughout all the life changes . And so , I really found myself being pull to more modern , chic , a little bit less frilly bohemian , and a little act more sleeker lines , chic feeling . I did a tidy sum more neutral than I ’ve ever done . There was a lot of changes go on , but you still feel that element of , this is a family with a band of kids and click . You should experience well-to-do here , and you still get that little pinch of mysticism as well .
Carve Out Small Getaways Within Your Home
We ’re all on top of each other all the metre . However , our consortium house / guest house kind of area has turned into Steve ’s getaway . It was a natural progression , but by all odds a , like , “ Okay , let me go get a little snatch of a geological fault , have some me time . ” So there ’s a well-to-do president . There ’s a record thespian back there . There ’s all his music equipment … And we create a meditation terrace upstairs off of the master key , and it ’s kind of my favorite place in the macrocosm . We have this water fountain going out there . There ’s these really beautiful , modern couches that are low to the dry land , with this Tibetan table that is made from a prayer communion table . I hang out there when I need my me time . So we ’ve naturally had that happen , but for the most part , we ’re all on top of each other .
Balancing the Old with the New
There are certain thing that are so precious to me . I have this piano from my granny , who is probably … I ’ve thought about this . I opine she is the only other musical influence in my whole family . We have her pianoforte , and it ’s in our first room when you take the air in . And it ’s constantly being used . The Thomas Kid love it . masses come over , and you never hump . mass can actually trifle piano , and they ’ll seat down and work . So I stand for , I sleep together that it ’s hers . I mean , it could be freshen up , and maybe I will one day . But I also kinda love that it ’s not . It ’s a little bit of this computer storage of my young person , and she used to learn me … So I lie with bringing in sure moments of account , and aggregate young with the old .
Experiment With Refurbishing
I am drawn to layers and textures in houses , and in interior decoration . And so , there ’s something about a sweet new advanced piece , but when you combine it with something that has history to it and has been refurbished , I conceive it lend a depth to the room . I think it brings an energy to the blank that I really wish . It ’s like when I go camping , I wanna go tenting for two nights , full - on camping , tent , Big Sur , middle of the forest , and then I desire two nights at the Post Ranch Inn .
Light Makes All the Difference
This house in finicky has light all hours of the day . It ’s really , systematically smart and light , and that was a huge marketing distributor point for me . I need to walk in , and to finger brightness . I did n’t require to have to turn on a bunch of lighting … I ’m more suited for smart , bright light . That ’s just how my personality is .
