This clasping coneflower(Rudbeckiaamplexicaulis)is so name because the low leaves seem to brooch the theme . That seems to be a rather prosaic way to denote to this profusely flowering knockout . cervid resistive .
The ‘ Rose Queen ’ cleome(Cleome hassleriana)has one of the longest - lasting blooms in the garden , as the flowers continue to open up and the spent flower wrick into “ spiders . ” Deer resistant .
The ‘ Salmon Sunset ’ four o’clock(Mirabilisjalapa)is so named because it open up belatedly in the afternoon and lasts until the follow morning . Technically it has no petals , and what you see is partly fused sepal .

This ‘ Dalmation Peach ’ foxglove(Digitalispurpureahybrid ) is one of the rare two-year varieties that bloom the first year when grown from seed . cervid repellent .
